FAQs for ChargeMailer
Where is the Setup Button?
The setup button is located on the opposite side of the board where the white triangle is pointing. Its positioned next to the USB-C connector labeled "Wall." When pressed, you should feel a click, and the red LED light will turn on.
What Wall Adapters Are Compatible?
ChargeMailer is compatible with all USB power adapters that can deliver 15W or higher. This includes all USB-C and USB-A adapters rated for fast charging or USB Power Delivery (USB-PD). An adapter may be required for the older USB-A style plugs.
Why Are There So Many ChargeMailer Reset Emails?
This issue is likely caused by using a wall adapter that doesnt provide enough power. If the power cuts off during charging, it triggers the reset. Ensure you are using a 15W or higher-rated adapter.
Why Does My Phone or Computer Give a Check Charge Connection Warning?
ChargeMailer limits charging to a slow charge to encourage longer charging times and less screen use. When the phone attempts to negotiate fast charging and ChargeMailer prevents the higher voltages, the device may display a connection warning. You can safely ignore this warning as the device will still charge.
The Red LED Light Wont Turn On When Connecting Power.
Ensure the side labeled "Wall" is connected to a working USB wall adapter. Some adapters may only provide power when a phone or wireless charger is connected. If it still doesn't work, try a different adapter.
Where is the Firmware File in the Setup Update Button?
ChargeMailer performs automatic internet updates. The update button in the setup does not need to be used unless a manual update is requested.
Can ChargeMailer Send Texts Instead of Emails?
Sending texts would incur a cost of around 5 cents per message and would require a monthly service plan instead of free emails. If you wish to use text notifications, contact support to explore setting up ChargeMailer to send texts through your account.
What is the Warranty?
The product comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase for normal usage. This does not cover water damage or damage caused by pets (such as dog mauling).
